
Ruth has worked in Savills urban design team since 2006, specialising in urban design, landscape architecture, and landscape, townscape and visual impact assessment.
Benefitting from her dual qualifications and with over 25 years’ experience, Ruth provides a landscape-led approach to masterplanning and enjoys achieving high quality, high value places with a focus on the provision of green infrastructure as an integral part of place-making.
Ruth also leads Savills landscape and visual impact capabilities, providing assessments to accompany planning applications within sensitive urban and rural settings. As well as working at a strategic level, Ruth provides detailed landscape and public realm input to design codes, strategies and statements.
Ruth particularly enjoys collaborative working, frequently leading and working within multidisciplinary teams. She is also an experienced facilitator at community and stakeholder consultation events.
